Confidence in Jesus

Nothing shatters our confidence more than trusting the wrong words, person, or situation. It makes us second guess our abilities.  However, that only occurs if we do not trust Jesus first and foremost nor believe in His ability to know what to do.

The only one who can be trusted without a shadow of doubt is Jesus. Trusting the Holy One is the only way to truly navigate this world we live in today. Without total trust, faith can not grow, and when our faith becomes stagnant, we do not recognize the blessings that come our way.

I think of Jarius and his daughter. When she died, Jarius searched and found Jesus for help because he trusted him above anyone else. Jesus immediately went with Jarius to his home. When they arrived, they found women wailing, as was the custom when someone died. Jesus found the commotion unnerving. He was not ready to resurrect the girl in front of hordes of onlookers as He still had much work to do. He asked everyone to leave except the parents and a few of his disciples.

When Jesus stated the girl was asleep and not dead, the wailers laughed at Him. Unbelief laughs at miracles, signs, and wonders.

Unbelief circles around everything in our lives if we allow it. However, trust and faith override it every time when we stay focused on Jesus.

Jarius and his family were blessed with His daughter’s life that day because he believed in and trusted Jesus with confidence to know what to do.

Then He (Jesus) took the child by the hand and said to her, “Talitha, cumi,” which is translated, “Little girl, I say to you, arise. Mark 5:41

Today, arise with confidence and complete trust in Jesus to lead you  the right way. Do not let unbelief circumvent your blessings.

Remember that anything is possible with God. That is your confidence and your blessing in Jesus name.
