When we love God deeply, we begin to understand that if we continue on in worldly ways, hoarding secrets in our hearts that break His is not living right. Jesus already knows. You are forgiven and through your change of habits are cleansed of it.
Cleansing in Jesus’ name is the first step towards healing. When we recognize it is necessary, change will begin.
While it is humanly impossible to live perfectly in an imperfect world, our attention to and effort for loving God instead of self will create the change within that is necessary. Trust the process.
Start right now. Asked Jesus for it. Pray the scriptures every day. Cleansing is freeing, powerful, and life-giving.
Create in me a clean heart, O God; And renew a right spirit within me. Cast me not away from your presence; And take not your holy spirit from me. Restore unto me the joy of your salvation; And uphold me with your free spirit. Psalm 51:10-12
