An invitation is exciting, captivating, and a source of community. We are invited every moment, multiple times a day, to become Christlike in all aspects of our lives, especially in the uncomfortable. Being Christlike is not about feelings, emotions, and wants. Being by Christlike is about self discipline, discovery, truths, words, and actions. Your heart posture of your faith matters for this is where the fruits of the Holy Spirit grows.
When you face anger, hate, encounters with those who live for the earthly realm, and ignorance due to demonic tendencies, stop, think, and draw in the sand like Christ all while asking God how to respond. Today are you ready to live like a disciple of Christ?
Then he (Jesus) said to them all (disciples) : “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me. 24 For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will save it. 25 What good is it for someone to gain the whole world, and yet lose or forfeit their very self? Luke 9:23-25
Today, make the effort to be Christlike instead of letting feelings take over for that is where Satan plants the seeds of strongholds within you. Those unfruitful seeds will eventually grow into discontent and the wrong reality.
