Christ-mas Contemplation

Commercialism has taken us away from reflecting on the real reason we celebrate Christ-mas. We begin at the Black Friday sales and do not slow down until New Year’s Day. Stress overwhelms and crowds get cranky, so why not change that this year.

As you gather with your friends, co-workers, and families this season spend some time conversing on the deeper meaning of Jesus the babe, the man, the Savior, the One and only God in the flesh. Revelations come when we are expectant. It’s a Holy Spirit thing. Try it!

For we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal. 2 Corinthians 4:18

Contemplate the mystery of Holy Spirit workings.
