Do you ever forecast your day around “after I do this I’ll get peace” to only find at the of the day your efforts never came to fruition? God beckons us to find Holy peace in the midst of our day; multiple times. Life on earth is not a peaceful place. We find peace when we stop chasing the world’s frantic pace and seek Holy peace His Way.
Slow down, seek divine intervention, chase after Gods will, Holy Spirit, Jesus’ way of dealing with ungrateful people and injustices. Our own ways to peace are usually to get away, isolate alone, or give into unhealthy habits, yet we find it only satisfied our frazzled, stressful lives for a moment. Then life in the enemy camp returns.
Even when your path takes me through the valley of deepest darkness, fear will never conquer me, for you already have! Your authority is my strength and my peace. The comfort of your love takes away my fear. Psalm 23 (TPT)
If you must chase, Chase after the Holy Word, be a prayer warrior, sit awhile in nature conversing with God, ask God for help, seek Jesus for answers by way of the Holy Spirit. It is in these habits of life you will find peace in the valleys that can only come from the blessings of God. This is your lasting peace.
