Beautiful World

“Beauty is in the eye of the beholder”: an old saying that puts the emphasis on what others find beautiful in and about you. While it is used to place opinions in the court of whoever quotes it, I believe it can all too often plant in minds the seed of people pleasing, the unconscious need to conform in order to satisfy a desired image, or paves the way to trying to fit in instead of self acceptance. More importantly, it negates how each of us are created in Divine’s image just as Holy intended. This saying may sound like you don’t need anyone to approve of your beauty without and within, but careful consideration must be given to how it makes you feel about yourself. The truth is when you rely on the Divine for your worth you already know how beautiful you are inside and out.

Holy created the world in such a way that places the emphasis of beauty on how intricately the universe and humans are made in Divine’s image and are blended together to become beautiful just as the Creator determined. We are all delicate flowers with beautiful colors, and intricately placed inner workings that can blossom in the light and healing waters of Holy, or wilt in the extreme heat and worldly views of the enemy. Have a Beautiful Day and Enjoy your intricate self in Holy’s intricate Creation for you are wonderfully made.

“O Holy One, you have Searched my heart and you know me…You knit me together in my mother’s womb…I praise you for I am fearfully (honorably) and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful.” Psalm 139
