Be Prepared

What do you prepare for in life? There are many seasons in each of our lives. We prepare for high school prom. Then comes college or work. Were you prepared?

Do you put in the same effort of preparation for your relationship with God? The understanding of the depth of God’s character and nature must be honed. Your daily prayer life matters. Your reading and researching the Word matters in how you daily live your life. Be prepared for your direction in life.

God gives us blessings even in the midst of pain, suffering, and hardships. Do you see those glimmers of hope?

Holy sees how our longings translate in our lives. Jesus knows the difficulties in living life on earth. He prepared every day by staying close to the Father and seeking guidance.

No matter how small you think something is, talk to Holy about how to be prepared for each day, each change of season, each difficulty, each temptation, each crossroad you must bear. God will meet you there.

God knows the plan. Our job is to prepare. The biblical meaning of Prepare  means “to be firm, be stable, be established, to be set up, to be ready, to make arrangements.”

No matter how small you begin to prepare, God appreciates your effort and longs to lead you through the plan of your life. Starting small with God, as opposed to on your own, builds wisdom, courage, and order.

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. ”  Jeremiah 29:11

The greatest preparation you can do in life is to daily give your life to Jesus.
