“For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.” Ephesians 6:12

God does not leave His warriors (people) unequipped in this world. We are given a clear set of battle gear in Ephesians. Take a look at the attitudes, actions, and/or strategies we can utilize to become battle strong against lies, adversities, evil, temptations, selfishness, confusion, indecision, teenagers (haha, had to throw that in there); you get the message!

“Put on the whole armor of God that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.” Ephesians 6:11
So how does this really work?
  • TRUTH: It’s your BELT that binds and surrounds you with the Divine Words of Truth by bringing the enemy’s lies to light
  • RIGHTOUSNESS: Visualize it like a BREASTPLATE of always doing the right thing which protects your heart by holding you close to the Holy Spirit within and exposing Satan’s attacks, accusations, and emotional terror
  • PEACE: Every step you take in life be determined in choosing to WALK the path of peace taking every opportunity to share the good news ignoring the enemy’s shouts of unworthiness, unlovable, too many mistakes, or hopeless circumstances
  • FAITH: Put on the SHEILD of the unseen in confidence knowing you can deflect the evil that surrounds you from all sides
  • SALVATION: Wear it as a HELMET of knowledge that angel armies protect you in the name of Christ who died saving ALL from sin by Forgiveness. You know the Scriptures; You know the Holy Spirit lives and speaks within; You know God has seen us at our worst and still chooses to Love Us Unconditionally. Be Smart – Think – The Knowledge of God is Within You. This is something Satan can never take away from you
  • SPIRIT: Take up your SWORD for it is your truth Within by way of the Holy Spirit. It is your wielding weapon against Satan.
  • PRAYER: Utilize this power to solidify all the these weapons of Armor. Use it many times a day and night.
