Growth takes work. If you are doing the work and others around are not, there will be friction and misunderstandings, and you will be expected to carry all of the growth for everyone. The thing is, life doesn’t work that way. We all have to be willing to do our own growth work, accepting that it will not be easy at times.
Never believe you are not enough in the eyes of God. You will always be understood, accepted, and encouraged onward by your Creator.
Your priority is Holy first, not your career, family, kids, hobbies, or life map. All of these are important, but take care that you do not place God at the end of your life list as an afterthought or just a one day a week practice. Holy first does ask you and others to step up. Who is willing?
See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him. 1 John 3:1
