Angels guard, guide, encourage, discourage, give messages, and sometimes make themselves known to you. Sent by God, angels are your caretakers on earth. Angels play an important God-given role in all believers lives.
The angel, Michael, strengthened Daniel when he became overwhelmed after a vision (Daniel 10). The angel, Gabriel, revealed to Mary her pregnancy and upcoming birth of Jesus. Gabriel was in attendance at Jesus’ birth. An angel strengthened Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane. Angels ministered to Him in the wilderness. They guarded the tomb at his death and escorted Jesus to Heaven at the appointed time after He had risen from death and spoke with His disciples.
Angels are important messengers of God. They are not to be worshipped or put above God. Yet, never discount the power of God at work through the messages of His Holy angels.
Angels are still guarding you and me today. Do not underestimate the angels assigned to you by God. They are always nearby. Ponder, rather than disregard a spark of passing light, a drifting feather, a revealing message, or a gut feel about a decision. Angels are sent to help you.
For He will command His angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways. Psalm 91:11
