A Little Help From A Friend

How easy it is to go about our day focused on our own little bubble. Even when we try to ignore everything,  everyone, and politicians we still experience stress, fear, and uncertainties just because that is what self serving does to us. It doesn’t free us; it aggravates our Spirit and causes more harm because no good comes from it. Selfishness breeds discontent,  why me attitudes, and feeds the notion that you deserve more. It will never be enough.

Today, if you pay attention to the details of life and focus on how Jesus lived on earth among us, we then see people and the world differently. Just the simple gesture of lending a hand to a friend, coworker, or anyone in need immediately takes your focus off of self endeavors.

Creating a better earthly world to live in begins with each of us individually; not by religious groups, corporations, presidents,  or giving money to charity.

It starts with you, me, and our willingness to get over our selves and give a little help to someone every day.

Mark 2:5-11 “When Jesus saw THEIR faith he said to the paralytic, Son, your sins are forgiven….I tell you, get up, take your mat and go home.”

Jesus healed the paralytic man brought to Him by Friends who lowered him into the room where Jesus was speaking by way of the roof top. This took great effort on the part of the man’s friends and trust on the part of the man that his friends wouldn’t drop him. It was a standing room only occasion with people gathered outside as well to hear Jesus’ words of hope. If not for the help of his friends, the paralytic would not have been healed.
