Our emotions can get in the way of our best decisions in life. Many times we allow our emotions to override our prayer life. Why? Because we want immediate change, pleasure, success, possessions, or just don’t want to be alone, are scared, our feelings are hurt, don’t want to be a failure…. And just like that, the enemy runs with whatever negative emotions you are feeling leading you to a path of desperation and rash decisions. Before you allow the enemy to drag you down the path of your own self destruction: Stop, Think, Run it by God.
Holy Prayer will lead you to the path of protection, good, reason, truth, and emotions that are healthy, not destructive. It has the power to turn something negative into something positive. It might not change the situation, but you will see the situation in a clear manner thereby promoting peace, discernment, enlightenment, and order in your wilderness.
Make your decisions in everyday life with God. The alternative is sorrowful floundering.
Pray for your friends and family today that they, too, would allow God to lead their decision making, and not emotions for Holy is the master decision maker.
