Healing takes time. The battle is intense. The win is in finding the You that has been buried under the chaos, self loathing, addictions, hurt, and physical illnesses. Each time you recover a piece of yourself you encounter Divine intervention. Celebrate each small win. Revel in your courage to keep battling, keep healing, keep searching.
What are you at war with in your life? Ask Holy to help you find your way. You will emerge and transform little by little amid the torrential storms. God will clothe you with dignity, perseverance, understanding, and lead you to yourself. Love is patient and Love is kind applies to yourself, too.
Remember our battles on earth are not over until we meet our eternal destination with Holy. My grandmother used to tell me this when I whined, pouted, ignored good advice… When a memory of her crosses my mind I remember her words of wisdom and am reminded the hand we are dealt in life is never final.
Life is a process and it is different for each one. Warrior on brave one. You are finding your Divine self.
