Since the beginning of time, God’s purpose of His heart is for all people to be restored to Holiness and Heaven. We should learn from the mistakes of humanity in history, but here we are thousands of years later repeating the same cycle of abuse of power, being held captive by sin, and putting self above all else.
God has proven that He does not give up on us as time and time again, He intercedes with a saving plan. It begins with Restoration, moves into Rebuilding, and the grand finale is the Redeeming mercy of Jesus.
In between all of those stages, I call the 3 R’s, there will be storms to navigate, consequences to learn from, change from within, and uncertain times so despairing all you may be able to do is pray. How will you hold up? Will you cave to the whirlwinds of storms, or will you stand firm in faith as chaos erupts around you like a volcano. It takes trust, complete surrender to God, and firm belief to stand before your enemies as the volcanic ash falls upon you in searing pain.
The hope believers have that others don’t is God’s promise to Restore, Rebuild, and Redeem. You can withstand anything life on earth hurls in your direction in Jesus’ name. He prepares a table for everyone.
It is time for the prodigals to come home. It will be up to us believers to gather them by standing firm against the storms in prayer and thanksgiving. Our hearts are to follow God’s heart, and His purpose is to restore all to Him.
So you will be my people, and I will be your God. See, the storm of the Lord will burst out in wrath; a driving wind swirling down on the heads of the wicked. The fierce anger of the Lord will not turn back until He fully accomplishes the purposes of His heart. In days to come, you will understand. Jeremiah 30
During the storm, will you hold on to the hem of His garment in faith and prayer while singing praises in the whirlwind? How others see you during your storms of life right now will mean the difference between them changing, believing, and coming home to Jesus or running away in fear.
The purpose of the Father’s heart is gathering all. Your heart should align with God’s. Remember the 3 R’s. Invite the lost and wandering to the table God already has prepared.
