Visions are always an ever changing work in progress. There’s lots of distractions that can hinder you from easily reaching and implementing the vision you have in mind for your life. Throw in a few relationships, marriage, kids, injuries, conflicts, career setbacks, illness, or a natural disaster, and your vision has veered off onto other paths. Life may have delayed it, but it is not forgotten.
When eventually trying to get back on track to your vision, organizing and planning are the easy parts. They are compartmentalized and provide a perfect map of how to make it happen. Life, however, is not perfect, thereby creating frustration with the process. But you don’t seem to be able to give it up. Visions of your life do not happen overnight. If it is highly important to you, you will wait out the timing. It is always somewhere on your mind.
God wants to have that place in your life. That focused vision of Holy living, learning, teaching, sharing, and serving. Holy cries out for our attention to develop a relationship. Holy longs for each of us to use our gifts to tell others about Jesus, to deepen our Holy revelations, and trust the process all the while holding onto His vision. Holy process is the only one you can trust. Holy Spirit beckons us to align with God’s vision of life.
Is God your first priority in your vision of your life?
Commit to the LORD whatever you do, and your plans will succeed. In your heart you plan the course, but the LORD determines your steps. Proverbs 16:3,9
